Privacy Policy
How Witch Shop Simulator handles game data, support messages, and visits to this website.
Your game progress is saved on your headset. We do not receive your saves or recordings of your movements. If you email us, we receive the information you send. You can delete local game data and ask us to delete support correspondence using the instructions below.
1. Who is responsible
Witch Shop Simulator is developed and published by an independent developer based in Georgia, operating under the brand olo games vr, also shown as olo games on this website. In this policy, “we” and “us” refer to the developer.
For support, privacy questions, or requests about your information, email ologamesvr@gmail.com. This policy covers the Meta Quest game, this website, and correspondence with us.
2. Data used by the game
Local progress. The game saves progress on your headset so you can continue between sessions. This includes the game day, customer count, in-game balance, unlocked ingredients, endless-mode status, and current scene. These are game states, not real-world payment information. We do not operate a game server that receives these saves.
VR controls. Headset and controller positions, rotations, and button inputs are processed on the device to display the VR scene and let you move and interact with objects. The game does not save a history of these movements or send it to us.
Features and services. The game is single player. It has no developer account registration, multiplayer, chat, microphone recording, advertising, or in-app purchases. It does not request your name, email address, contacts, or date of birth during play. Unity engine diagnostic collection, Unity Analytics, and Unity Ads are disabled in this version.
3. Meta platform and backups
Meta operates the headset, Meta accounts, the Meta Horizon Store, purchases, and its platform services. We do not receive your payment-card details through the game. Meta’s own processing is described in Meta’s Privacy Policy.
The game writes saves locally and has no developer-operated cloud save service. Meta may separately back up supported app data when its Cloud Backup service is enabled and applicable. We do not receive or manage those platform backups.
If a backup exists, you can view and delete it on Meta’s Cloud Backups page. Uninstalling the game removes local app data but does not delete an existing cloud backup. A backup may restore progress when you reinstall. See Meta’s Cloud Backup information for the platform’s controls.
4. Email support
If you contact us, we receive your email address, your message, and any attachments or other details you choose to send. We use them to answer your question, investigate the reported issue, or handle your privacy request. Contacting support is optional; without enough information, we may be unable to resolve a particular request.
Our mailbox is provided by Google Gmail. Messages are processed through that service under Google’s Privacy Policy. Please avoid sending passwords, payment-card details, identity documents, or other information that is unnecessary for your request.
5. This website and service providers
This website is hosted on GitHub Pages. It contains no analytics scripts, advertising, tracking cookies, contact forms, or externally loaded fonts. GitHub processes connection information, including visitors’ IP addresses, to provide and secure its hosting service. See GitHub’s Pages documentation and GitHub’s Privacy Statement.
Google and GitHub may process information outside Georgia, including in the United States, as described in their privacy information. We use them to provide email support and website hosting. We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising. We may disclose information where required by law or necessary to handle a legal claim.
6. Purposes and retention
Local game data and VR inputs are used to provide gameplay. Where a legal basis is required, this processing is necessary to provide the game you requested. Support correspondence is used to respond to your requests and, where applicable, to meet legal obligations. Website hosting and security support our legitimate interest in providing a working, secure information site.
Local progress remains on your device until you clear the app’s data or uninstall it. VR movement inputs are used during play rather than kept as a recording. We keep support correspondence while it is needed to resolve your request and necessary follow-up, or to meet an applicable legal obligation or handle a legal claim; we delete it when those reasons no longer apply. Hosting logs and platform backups are retained according to the respective provider’s policies and controls.
7. Deletion and your rights
Local saves: use the app-data deletion control for Witch Shop Simulator in your headset’s storage settings, or uninstall the game. This removes local progress. Check Meta’s Cloud Backups page separately for any existing platform backups, including backups on other devices.
Information sent to us: all users, in every region, can request deletion free of charge by emailing ologamesvr@gmail.com. You do not need a game account. Tell us which correspondence or information your request concerns; we may ask for only the information needed to verify that it belongs to you.
Subject to applicable law, you may also ask for access, correction, a copy, restriction of processing, or object to processing. If consent is relied on, it can be withdrawn. You may complain to the competent data-protection authority, including the State Audit Office of Georgia. If we cannot fulfil a request because of a legal obligation or a necessary legal claim, we will explain the reason and retain only what is required. We cannot directly erase data held independently by Meta, Google, or GitHub; we will help identify the relevant provider’s controls.
8. Younger players
The game is intended for players aged 10 and over, including children aged 10–12, teens, and adults. It is not intended for children under 10. This audience description is separate from any regional content rating.
The same local-save approach and absence of advertising, chat, and microphone recording apply to younger players. We do not ask children to submit personal details during gameplay. A parent or guardian can contact us about information their child has sent to support and can request its deletion. Children should ask a parent or guardian for help before emailing us.
9. Changes and contact
We will update this page if the game’s data handling changes and revise the date above. For questions about this policy or help exercising your rights, contact ologamesvr@gmail.com.
